I knew a living great violinist was named after Avraham's son, but I didn't know his great violinist friend was named after Eleazar's!

I did well in the quiz- except two (age of soldiers ,and the sacrifices in Sukkot. )I love this parsha because of Zelophed's daughters. Since their dad was already dead, and their being women the rule did not favored them to inherit land in Eretz Israel. They went to Moshe- not as complainers but as petitioners- and Moshe heard their plight, and with H' advice the answer was positive. Not only the petition benefitted them, but all women after them because that became the law in the absence of sons. This is one step forward for understanding women's role. Reply
