“Mom, what does it mean to be Jewish?”
“Why should I care?”
"Is it OK to tell my friends that I'm Jewish?"

These are the questions that inspire everything we do at Chabad of Milford-HCW's Hebrew School. Our goal is to give children the knowledge, experiences, and confidence to answer these questions for themselves—with pride, understanding, and joy.

At CHS, we believe that Jewish learning should be engaging, hands-on, and meaningful. Our students don’t just memorize facts—they explore traditions, celebrate holidays, and connect with Jewish values in a way that touches both mind and heart. Through art projects, music, games, and real-life experiences, we bring Judaism to life and show how it can be a source of inspiration every day.

We are dedicated to fostering a lifelong, positive connection to Jewish life. Every student is encouraged to explore their heritage, ask questions, and develop a personal sense of pride in being Jewish. Our caring teachers and warm, supportive environment ensure that each child feels seen, valued, and inspired to grow.

Whether learning Hebrew, studying a Torah passage, or celebrating the holidays, our students gain not only knowledge but also a deep love for their Jewish identity. By experiencing Judaism in a meaningful and authentic way, children develop a strong foundation that will guide them for the rest of their lives.

At Chabad Hebrew School, we don’t just teach Judaism—we help children experience it, live it, and love it.
